About Fur Hoops

Fur hoop is a brand new novelty in the market that no one knows much about, here’s some Q & A for your reference

Does the fur slip at all around the hoop?
The fur goes all around the hoop, no parts of tubing is exposed.

What are the chances of the glue which attached the fur to the tubing wearing off?
The fur is glued on permanently, will not wear off over time.

Does the fur add much weight, or is it about the same as a typical taped hoop?
It doesn't add much weight to the hoop. In fact, fur makes the hoop "feel" lighter when spun, because it creates more friction. We use 160 psi tubing for all our fur hoops. They tend to spin slower than taped hoops so they are great for slow sensual dance and tricks.

What does it mean when you say you can add more weight?
Some hoopers like to customize the weight of their hoops by adding sand, rice, beans, marbles or water to increase the weight. In the case of adding weights to fur hoops, dry weights are preferred to preserve the fluffy look of the fur.

How can weights be added in fur hoops?
Usually the part where the ends of tubing meet is covered with tape or other material, we left this part unsealed. If you want to add weights to your hoop, heat the connection with a hair dryer. (hold the dryer at a distance so it doesn’t melt the fur) Pull the tube apart, add weight, then connect the ends to complete the closure.

How to maintain a fur hoop?
To keep a fur hoop fluffy, it is best not to play with it on wet surfaces or near fire. If you get it dirty, you can wash it with shampoo then dry it with a dryer set on low-medium heat. Run your hand back and forth on the fur while drying to keep it fluffy.

i'am not experienced, should I buy a soft hoop for my first one or not?

How heavy is it?
We use light weight foam for the Coosh Woosh series. The foam doesn’t add noticeable weight to the hoop. They feel like the same as taped hoops of the same size.

About Hoop Rack

How small does this rack pack down when disassembled?
The unassembled hoop rack fits into s large flat rate USPS priority mail box which is 12"x 12"x 5".

Does putting it together and taking it apart several times compromise its conectivity ~ in other words, do the joints become looser over time?
The parts are made of PVC pipes and connectors, they withstand a good amount of assembling and disassembling. However, the parts are designed to have a snug fit and hammering will tighten the joints even more. So to keep your rack easy to disassemble you may want to hammer the joint lightly. Also rubber gloves used for cleaning help to grip on the parts better when disassembling.
